One synthetic lash is placed per natural lash. We book the classic lashes as “Basic”
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VOLUME AND CLASSIC?
Volume lashes are created by using tweezers and fingers to create a fan anywhere between 2 and 6 lashes, sometimes more depending on the weight of the lashes.
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT LASH SETS LALA LASH OFFERS?
Basic – One synthetic lash per natural lash.
Crash&Daze – Combination of the classic lash technique and volume technique. Usually creates a wispy look.
Revolt – Only volume technique, uniform fans, and up to 2 different curl lashes.
Phase 2 – Only volume technique, several different curls, thicknesses and fans. Gives a very messy look and is great when trying to mimic certain strip lashes.
WHAT TYPE OF GLUE DO YOU USE?
Lash glue that is specific to Individual Lash Extensions. Each LaLa Lash artist uses different glue according to their speed and preference.
WHAT IF I AM ALLERGIC?
There have been very few reactions. However, they do happen. To minimize them, we do not use gel pads under the eyes, only micro foam tape. If you are typically very sensitive to products including laundry detergents, makeup or other types of materials we suggest that you ask for a patch test and we will apply the glue to the back of your hand. Keep in mind though, the glue does not touch your skin during the lashing process, only your lashes.
HOW OFTEN DO I NEED INFILLS?
With Classical, every 2 weeks, sometimes 3 if proper care is taken. Most volume sets are every 3 weeks.
HOW DO I WASH MY FACE WITH LALA LASHES ON?
You can generally use any current face wash you have now. Just make sure that you keep all oil and any cotton away from your lashes.
HOW DO I CLEAN MY LASHES?
With the mascara wand provided at your service, use Lash Shampoo to cleanse the lashes.
How long does microblading last?
Your tattoo will last as long as it is maintained. Untouched, the ink will last 1-3 years.
How often do I need a touch up?
Touch up are recommended every 1-3 years to keep the color fresh and the strokes crisp.
I cannot come back for my 6 week microblading touch up in exactly 6 weeks, what are my options?
We can do your 6 week touch up service up to 10 weeks after the initial service. Waiting any longer than this will cause us to have to start all over with a whole new service. Receiving your touch up in this 6-10 week time frame is crucial to your results.
How long will the procedure take?
The procedure take roughly about two hours, sometimes more and sometimes less. Please allow a solid two and a half hour window for your appointment. We likely won’t need that much time, but this is not something we want to rush.
How long will my eyebrows take to heal?
Healing time varies from individual to individual. Usually, it takes about a week to ten days to fully heal. Then, the pigment takes some time to settle into the skin. A good month should pass before we consider the process complete.
Can I take Asprin or blood thinners prior to my service?
Asprin or other blood thinners should not be taken at least 7 days prior to procedure. Non-Asprin pain relievers may be taken up to one hour prior to procedure. **Important Note: Do NOT discontinue any medications that are prescribed by a physician or which are necessary for your health! If you cannot discontinue use, you will need a note from your doctor to receive the procedure.** Please see the full list of blood thinners to ensure the safety of your procedure.

Can I receive microblading if I am pregnant?
You must have a signed release from your doctor at time of appointment.
Will alcohol affect my service?
To prevent excessive bleeding you must avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours prior to service.
I have a condition that requires me to take antibiotics before a dental visit, will this affect my service?
If you require antibiotics prior to dental visit, you must check with your doctor to determine if antibiotics are needed for permanent cosmetics.
Will Botox & skin plumping injections affect microblading?
Botox and skin plumping injections such as Restylane may alter the shape of permanent cosmetics. You must wait until these treatments have worn off (usually 4-6 months) or receive microblading 1 week prior to injections.
Can I receive microblading if I am on Accutane?
Accutane users must be off Accutane for at least 1 year before undergoing the microblading proceedure.
Is microblading painful?
Answer: Although a numbing cream is used during the procedure, slight sensitivity/ discomfort can still be felt by sensitive clients and those who are resistant to lidocaine. We want this to be a pleasant experience for you, Steps are taken to make you as comfortably numb as possible. Depending on individual’s skin and level of pain tolerance, some clients report the area to be completely numb, while others may experience discomfort.
