As most of you already know, my name is Sam. I am a platinum level lash artist at Lala Lash Cincinnati. I’ve been with Lala now for about 3 years so you can probably just call me one of the “OG’s” lol. You all know what life is like for me at work, but I want you to get to know me and a little bit more about what life is like for me outside of Lala Lash.
I grew up in small town in West Harrison, Indiana. I currently live in Northern KY with my boyfriend, Tyler, and little fur baby, Remy. We don’t plan for that to be our forever home, but we are happy there for the time being. In the future, we would love to own a home together closer to work.
When I’m not at home spending time with Tyler and Remy, I can guarantee you 99% of the time I’m either shopping or eating at one of the many restaurants in the NKY/Cincinnati area. Shopping is by far my favorite hobby and I’m a pro at knowing the best boutiques and online stores. I’m always down for a good deal so if you’re looking for a discount, I have the codes. After a long day of buying clothes that probably won’t fit in my closet at this point, it’s time to eat. Picking a favorite restaurant in Cincinnati is so hard because I’m such a foodie. Some of my favorites lately have been Louvino (really anywhere in OTR), Bru Burger, and Deweys Pizza. I’m a weirdo about planning out what I’m going to eat. I’ll literally look at the menu online before I get to the restaurant so I’m ready to order!
I’ve always loved having a lot of friends, but anymore I stick primarily to my two besties, Danni and Emily. When it comes to my friends and me, I’m usually the planner on what we are going to do. If I didn’t make the plans then we would never decide on what to do. We like to do anything from going on trips, concerts, wineries, or just having a night in. I’m also close to all of the LaLa girls, so I love hanging out with them outside of work. Some of my most memorable trips have been with them.
To be able to go shopping, eat out, and go on trips with my girls, I have to put in the time at work. I feel like I’ve come so far in my lash career. I will never forget my first client and how nervous I was! My hands were SHAKING. Now, I’m the most confident and passionate I have ever been. I feel like lashing just clicks to me and I’m super happy to call it a career. One day I’d hope to open a Lala Lash of my own because let’s be honest, I can’t be lashing behind the chair forever.
I hope you enjoyed learning a little bit about what life is like for me outside of Lala Lash! Stay tuned for my Lash Artist of the Month Interview coming soon!
